Profound Simplicity: The Pith Instructions of Chögyam Trungpa One Day Vajrayana Retreat
with Richard John
Chögyam Trungpa was a renowned dzogchen master while still a monk in Tibet. The depth and volume of his teachings from that time, diligently gathered by his nephew Karme Senge Rinpoche, have only recently come to light. The root text for this brief retreat is "Songs of Experience," compiled and edited by the Nalanda Translation Committee. It has pith instructions and commentary for mahamudra and dzogchen practitioners,.
Vajrayana practitioners--those who have received transmission from a Kagyu or Nyingma lineage holder— are strongly encouraged to attend the Deep Meditation retreat. Each day will include meditation, instruction and discussion.
The root text, "Songs of Experience," is recommended but not required. It is a small booklet available for $12.
Notify Elizabeth at [email protected] by September 20 if you wish to purchase a copy.
Vajrayana students who also register for the Deep Meditation Retreat can pay a combined price of $275 for both retreats.
